I often have a hard time wrapping my head around wheel offset problems, so I need your help with this.
The back of my car currently has 9.5 inch wide (241.3mm) rims with a 45mm offset.
I have another set that are 10 inch wide (254mm) with a 58mm offset.
So ideally, would a 6.35mm spacer put the center of the 10 inch wheel in the same place as that of the 9.5? Or would it need to be 12.7mm?

You know what they say - build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a night. Set a man on fire, he'll be warm the rest of his life. Or something like that.
Once again, it looks like I'm overthinking things. I spent too much time thinking about wheel width, when I should have just focused on wheel center line. Looks like a pair of H&R Trak+ 14mm spacers and some expensive bolts should get me to where I want to be.
Next step: Get the TPMS system turned off.

The link seems to be broken. The calculator I like is this one:

It has a nice visual representation of the two wheel + tire sizes you put in to compare, so it's really obvious what changing one number does.

Wow, that is a seriously useful tool right there. Bookmarked. Thank you!
