Any less expensive options to safelite? This is for my 93 f-250.

When I went looking for a Miata windshield Safelite came in lowest, by quite a bit, too.

I don't know about where you are, but if you are looking for cheap, find a glass guy with Russian accent.  Is bring container of Chinese windshields in for bestest price good deal.

I agree with a local shop. I had to call around a bunch of places for the Vette, but eventually found a husband/wife place that were 1/2 cost of anyone else.

Local franchise glass guy will do just about any normal windshield or truck back glass for about $200. I always pay with cash. .

just piling on the find a local guy bit.  I once priced safelite to fix a windshield and it was more than my regular guy wanted to replace the whole windshield with new.

Yeah.  Safelite.  Not knocking them but one third the cost of the car?  Broke out the steel wool on that one. indecision  Good info on the local shop.  I'll have to look into that next time. smiley
