I'm mainly just complaining because I desperately want these wheels for the NC:
http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=EM&Product_Code=ADVAN-RSII-18x9-5114-63&Category_Code=ADVAN-RSII
I guess I'll just have to settle for RPF1s.
Ok, so who else looked at that and went "Thats not a bad price for a seeeeeeeeeeee Holy carp! Thats PER WHEEL!" ?
I'm feeling some custom Kodiaks for the NC. Get on it.

If I lost my mind or found a spare bundle of cash in the attic, I'd spend it on the Advan's.
I thought about Forgestar F14s, because they are very reasonably priced, but I don't think there is enough "open space" to look good on such a small car.
Get these.

That's a ton of cash for a wheel that does not state the wheel weight.
Those wheels look good, but they still seem like a thin 10 spoke wheel that plenty other companies do and have made that can and do cost much less less than $675 per wheel. Those should be forged at that price. A prestige brand will jack up the price of their products quite a bit. Tire Rack has a good selection of wheels that will cost around $900 a set for something similar to those.

I wish I could afford to "settle" for RPF1s...

If you go to their web site you can find all the weights.
For those, IIRC, the 18x9 is around 17.5lbs.

Hey stance bro, for a 9" wide wheel on an NC I need +45 to +50 on the offset so I can stuff a 245 or 255 under the car.
Because racecar?
Sorry, it's the best I had at the moment.

Good news! Most of those are available in different offsets, those were just bookmarked for MX6 usage because stance makes her dance, y0.
I need like.... a 10" -5 offset or something.
Mr_Clutch42: The big thing is weight. That's why I decided against the SSRs I was looking at. In 17x9 they are 21 lbs. I'd loathe to see what they weigh in 18x9.
Duke: Being a DINK in a super cheap part of the country has some advantages. I'm trying really hard not to order up a set of MCS coilovers for the car because I'm a petulant child who doesn't want to wait for FM to release their new setup.

Yeah, but all the knockoff stuff is so heavy.
Hell the only reason I'm going to put a BBK on the car is to get 10lbs off each corner. I want to get it as light as possible without affecting comfort. So lightweight exhaust, wheels, brakes, etc, whilst keeping the leather and BOSE.
Trying to make a best of both worlds compromise vehicle here.
The one thing I can tell you after having two sets of Volk CE28s on my S2000 is that expensive wheels keep the resale value.
So when the time comes to sell them, you will get most of your money back.
I actually made money on one of the CE28 sets.
I'm just glad that I like black steelies so much.
I've bought a '94 4x4 Blazer, a '91 Samurai, a '73 Super Beetle, a '97 XJ Cherokee, a '94 Tracker and an'87 Samurai for LESS THAN ONE OF THOSE WHEELS.
Because Racecar?
Because Racebike… And this isn't even the carbon stuff :(
Its a rather large, highly engineered precision aluminum forging that has to be perfect or it could kill people, that's why light wheels from reputable manufacturers are expensive.

Something about that statement really appeals to me.

I keep hoping that BST will start making automotive wheels.
Look on the Stanceworks Forum classifieds section. You can find some nice used highend lightweight wheels for pretty decent prices. Same with Zilvia forum.

I realize that. It was just complaining that I can't afford them.

Don't shop R8 wheels if you think that's a bunch.... I'll never understand spending $6-$8k on wheels and tires, the stock ones are good enough for me.
I won't be, your R8 cost more than my house.
I would love a set of rpf1s, those advans do nothing for me. Especially for that price.

I was expecting something a lot more exotic... There are plenty of wheels out there that look the same for half that.
