We usually get a new press car to test on Thursdays. Today's got within about a mile of the office when it was an innocent bystander in a high-speed crash: http://www.news-journalonline.com/NewsJournalOnline/breakingnews/troopercrash042309.htm
The guys delivering the car were okay and took the car back to South Florida sans rear bumper. There's a photo from the crash on the paper's front page, but I don't see them.
it's a car that manufacturers loan to magazines for reviews, but that's not important right now.
LMAO, i know that!
what model was it? new camaro or anything interesting, or bread and butter car?
No, nothing that exciting. Toyota Highlander. For the weekly cars, we take what the press car Gods send us.
And apparently the Gods were not pleased with the Highlander.

OMG. I laughed so hard I woke up my wife.
Hey, they updated the report, and our car made the news. Grimaldo, who was involved in the second wreck, was delivering a car to us. I heard they were okay yet shaken up. Grimaldo has been delivering cars to us for years.

"...there can be only one."
Airplane and Highlander references in the same thread?
Gawd, I love this site.
... the suspect rear-ended an SUV carrying two businessmen from Miami....
When I think of an SUV carrying "businessmen" from Miami, a press car isn't the first thing that pops into my mind.

What a coincidence - I laughed so hard I woke up your wife, too.
