Going to go look up GLIs now...thanks
So power, comfort, $20k and sleeper:
Can you tell I am shopping similar requirements? I have some slower MT cars in the mix, as I can't decide between faster GT car or more fun MT car...

I want a manual trans but wife can't dive it. So, to compensate I want the power and comfort. There are way to many fun cars in this price range. I am looking at all of the ones you mentioned, my wife does not like the Charger, otherwise it would be in my driveway. I had Ram with a Hemi and it was a lot of fun. I thought the Q40 came with a smaller engine, I will have to look at those as well.
The Genesis have peaked my interest, I am trying to find one to drive.
Thanks for all the replies!!!!!
I hope to pick something over the weekend if I can test drive everything.
Might be hard to find one that meets the mileage requirement, but a V1 would be well under your budget.
Too lazy to read if anyone said Hyundai Equus yet. Like the genesis but with more powers and creature comforts IIRC. A buddy has one, looks fairly menacing in black but sitting in the rear power reclining seats and having 400hp unleashed is pretty sweet. His is 5 years old I think and cost $16k-ish at the local hyundai dealer.
Lexus ISF without the badging is a pretty solid, fun sleeper. For $20k you are definitely on the low end and will be pushing your mileage requirement. I think I saw a black ISF on eBay for $20k. Most are $25k.
Mercedes E55 with an intercooler pump, supercharger pulley, tune and de-badge. Look like any other businessperson, gaptize Hellcats

Maintenance on this would make a jag look super cheap, assuming you could find anyone who knew how to work on one.
Curtis said:x350 Jag isn't exactly new used, but get the nicest, newest XJR and it tips your boxes. Maybe not quite as much sleeper since it's flashy. Get the Super V8 for less flash (basically a Vanden Plas with the XJR bits)
These do look pretty pedestrian for 400hp.
But, the x350 isn't the latest xjr. I believe the x351 is. Goes to show how obscure it is or how bad jaguar markets it. Hardly anyone knows about the x351 xjr. It lives in the shadow of the F-type R.
