I want an AWD wagon-donated version of this (4 doors, bed, awesome)

Amazing. Not a total hack job, tastefully done, and actually useful-and used-as a truck.

Well done.

So who is going to (or wants to) do it with the M3 estate?

It looks nicely done to me.

There's an e39 M5 wagon running around out there someplace that looks pretty cool, and up until recently (when it was finally scrapped due to advancing rust) a guy I know had a Bavaria wagon conversion.

The level of retardation in that thread is overwhelming.

All of the pseudo-purists all "angry" that he cut up a ZHP when he clearly stated it was a totaled car sitting in a scrap yard. They seem like a bunch of 25 y /o superiority complex-laden rubes who are all holier-than-thou for driving affordable used BMW's.

The conversion is fantastic, BTW. Impressive stuff.

You mean to tell me you'd DESECRATE a wagon, JUST to get a BMW pickup??? What are you? Anyway?

Seriously, taking an otherwise scrapped rig and doing the Ute conversion is just cool. Cool enough to get me thinking how I could pull it off...

Those are the same kids who give me trouble over owning the "ugly" BMW. A few weeks ago, my ugly BMW went around the OUTSIDE of an E46 M3 on the LONG radius onramp from the Garden State Parkway to the Atlantic City Expressway 270 degrees of two lane onramp... of course once we hit the straightaway on the Expressway, he left me for dust.. but I know I definatly upset him
