A Cadillac Astro van??

Just saw a new Kmart commercial and the mom is driving what appears to be an Astro/Safari with a Caddy front end and wheels!

Pretty funny to see.

"Hey, we still have this tooling for the Astro. What say we put some Caddy stuff on it. Our typical customers will just eat it up!"

I don't watch that much TV and Kmart's marketing dollars can't be that strong but surprisingly, I too saw this ad on TV recently.
I don't recall a lot about the commercial but I did notice the van while it was happening.

I would expect that to be a Express, but without the body line that connects the front and rear wheel arches, it might just be an Astro.

thats an astro. I feel like they made kits to swap the escalade parts when mini truckin was big. Or at least I saw it done so often i assumed there were kits.

I still think I'd go with an Oldsmobile Silhouette.

If something like that was available for the full size Express then we are talking.

Nobody mentioned the switches and fog machine. Just caught the commercial. Switches on a van... I can dig it.

I like it. Now I want a lifted awd Astro with 31s, a caddy conversion, and a rooftop tent.
