All of my threads are gone.

Everything.   Photos, build threads, information, modifications, everything.


What hurts the worst is the thread that I was working through dealing the multiple deaths in my family, and the one where I took my daughter to California...

EDIT: Sorry, just saw in the mod thread that it's already known. Fingers crossed for a backup to restore from.

What page/URL are you looking at when you see that?

Even if it's as broken as it looks, I wouldn't give up hope because it could be A) a hiccup that's just making stuff not show up or B) a hiccup which can be restored from backups. My first thought is to ping the Moderator Help thread to see if they can look into it.

Heck, it's hard to remove stuff from the web...

I can see your garage and a handful of saved threads, but there are a lot of nones on your profile right now. I just checked mine and a couple other people and they're fine, so i donno. Weird. 

Edit: not even seeing them in the list of threads you've commented on. really weird. 

Well I can confirm it's not just you (Edit: As in your threads have not only disappeared from your user's view)...time for those backups to pay for themselves.

The Interstellar Sledgehammer post has disappeared at least once before, I think it's an ongoing issue

But they were able to get it back so I would worry too much

if it's any consolation... sleepyhead went "full Buffalo" and kicked the family out of an entire floor of the house while I tried to figure out what happened and document it for Tom/The.Devs

What I don't understand as someone who has been a mod and/or admin on a couple forums (including an incredibly busy one BItD) for the past decade and a half is how there are so many issues with these sorts of things.  The backend of those groups are user friendly and the tools for reporting posts and removing spammers are robust.   It just seems like there are always a bunch of issues with spammers and glitchy software.

Based on what I know, Stampie didn't get banned... it probably just looked like it.  I'm guessing his was the first time this glitch in our "wipe out canoe flotillas" tool reared it's head.

I was banned and proud of it!  Ok so maybe a mistake ban but still I'm thinking of getting a tattoo "Banned from GRM 2019".

Maybe a t-shirt and/or a banner pulled by an airplane before the tattoo?

Because.....what if it happens more than once? Then you'll have to date each tattoo and if it keeps happening you'll run out of space

I’d take a view new post tool for threads as well. This is the only forum I use that doesn’t have it.

Women that make bad decisions like bad boys and what says bad boy more than running out of space to put Banned from GRM 20xx tattoos?  Plus for me to get a woman she has to be really good at making bad decisions.

Having been in your current shoes I know it sucks losing all your threads but they straightened me out so I'm sure they'll get you right. In my case the links to the threads are difference so don't go of any bookmarks. 

We will get this straight. Might not be cheap (wasn’t last time), but worth it. Our community is us. We fix.
