OK, I am an idiot, I'll admit that. I always autocross with a local club that runs Sundays only. The local SCCA chapter I have run with a few times, always on a Sunday. I just thought it was one of those weird laws, all autocrossing in PA had to be done on Sunday. So when I signed up for an SCCA event this weekend, I didn't even look at the date, I just showed up on Sunday.
As I am signing in, the guy asks me if I am going to drift that thing. Uhh, on BFG Rival S? No, why? Then I noticed I am was in line with twenty 240SXs. DOH!
I am now kicking myself for leaving, I should have stayed and watched for a while. DOUBLE DOH!
I showed up a weekend early one time, no big deal, just some wasted time and gas. You really should've stayed and watched though
Put a plastic deli tray under each rear wheel. Pull handbrake. Drift away.
No, I didn't make that up.
In reply to Jay:
Plastic cutting boards with some box section bolted to them as chocks works way better than trays.
It would so be worth entering just to pass a drift car mid corner at 3x the speed, in front of an audience
