A friend of mine took me for a ride in his Tesla Model 3 a few months ago. I recently heard that the leftover 2019 Model S was being offered at a discount. 335 mile range vs 370 and some suspension differences. Free supercharging was also being included for these cars. I went to the showroom and drove an S for the first time.
It is truly a different experience. One pedal driving is extraordinary!

Do they move out as quickly as they seem to on the internet?
How much? (if you don’t mind telling)
If have been wondering if they ever had any sort of deals on these.
I am also curious what the depreciation is like on these and if they are worth considering used.
They do have some exhilarating acceleration.

Family member just bought one used to take advantage of the depreciation. I think it's a 2016. Not sure what it cost, but he's thrilled about it. He went back far enough to get the free supercharging as well, which was a big part of the look for an older one. His friend who had one was very encouraging to looking at used ones, as you won't see the degradation in lifespan of batteries on a 30k mile car, it's still basically "new" as far as a lot of the hardware goes.
1 pedal driving? does the regen braking stop you that quickly?
In reply to Grtechguy :
Yes, the one pedal driving is awesome. Hardly ever use the brakes and it is why I will want to lubricate the brake sliders once a year I figure. Would hate to have them seize up in the winter from lack of use.

3.7s to 60. It feels like an amusement park ride.

The demo model discounts can be pretty large. I have heard of numbers 20k and over but obviously those will have more miles. Discounts on the new leftover models is 10k-12k bringing the price for a 100D to just under 80k. My car has the latest autopilot computer and I was able to add full self driving for 5k instead of 6k. Free supercharging for life is also included on these leftover cars. No discounts on any model 3s.
Sweet, I’ve looked a couple times but just can’t bring myself to do it.
My wife’s cousin lives in new Albany, who paints all those fences?
In reply to chandler :
Ha! Not sure who paints them but it is fence painting season now. Stop and ask who they work for?

Seems like a monumental task!
I'm sure you've already seen this, right?

That looks like fun but the model S is so wide that I think auto-x is out of the question for me. Well, maybe just once..
