This. Her life will be much better if she sticks it out and gets a few more letters after her name. For the focus, flashbacks, etc., see if the school has any COMPETENT counseling that can help her.

We'll just leave it at that. Many of the people who have responded in this thread DO know her. You are WAAY off base.

You posted your E36 M3 on the internet, not in your family room. I know you and your daughter as well as the arresting officer. you can get your panties in a wad if you like but then again... You could have just not posted.

EDIT (because it's your daughter and I totally get why you are upset):

I might be way off base and/or you might be looking at your daughter as most parents do.

I'm probably not WAAAY off base since all I did was guess there is more to this than you have said. Either it is because no one told you yet, you don't want to say or there is nothing to report. If you put drama out for the world to comment on - expect them to.

As a fellow parent though, Best of luck in all regards. I'm not trying to be an shiny happy person. I'm just not looking thru the same glasses as you.

Paul, do you know anyone in the area of the school....family, long term (decades) friends, etc. who she could stay with? I'm just thinking that she may be less stressed if she can stay in a more trusted environment than normal student housing....

Then you are not succeeding. Stand down. The fact that this is on the internet does not give you license.

I am sharing something important with people who matter to me, and some of them are being very supportive.

It is also important information to parents who care. Regardless of how hard we try or how good our kids are, there is no limit to how much the world can abuse them. My daughter was not harmed seriously. We are fortunate. But a system this messed up should be a cause of great concern to everyone.

Your help would be greatly appreciated. If silence is the best way you can help, that's OK too.

Thank you.
