I kinda dig those, but I have a moment of "Who grafted a 928 nose onto a perfectly good 944?" every freaking time. And I don't even dislike the 928's looks...

Yup, VSR. It was the featured car from last weekend's Lake Mirror Classic car show - yes, that's our lake mirror in the background - that I was trying to get people interested in attending. It was designed by Wayne Cherry who was the speaker at the luncheon on Friday.
I didn't get to see it.....they bring out the contours-quality stuff on Saturday. I went Friday evening with Dad, and that's more of a low key typical cruise in thing (right down to the local cover band, etc.) I still had a good time.
Instead of spectating at the big show I hung out at home, I talked to you guys about brake pedals, then psyched myself up to finishing my brake bracket. Afterwards, I made one to mount my gas pedal.

Oh, I would drive the living snot out of either of those very happily. The 968 would just confuse me for a second every now and then, but I can cope with that.
I just wish black cars weren't such a huge pain in the ass to take care of, because they look so damned awesome on the right shapes.
Oh and here are my cars because I like to show them off :)

It was actually built by Race Car Replicas out of Detroit, and then Cadillac skipped out on the bill. I don't know if they ever got paid for it or not, but they hadn't up to a year after completion.
