If that's a "carving" or "building" of a face, then it's the memorial for the patient who recieved the first Martian "face transplant". Obiligatory hotlink's the MRO..but you knew that's what it was going to be already, didn't ya!I recall sitting thru a lecture from a nasa scientist when I was 15? about the pathfinder mission and how one mission objective was to get more detailed images of the "face"

It supposedly worked well, but a $50k bike in 1992 was even more outrageous than it is today.

F1 motorcycle, I think was their first attempt. Might have tried it in F1 car as well, but I think they had some trouble with ring sealing.

Wow, that's a deeply flawed graphic. You can't add depreciation to the total purchase price - you don't pay extra for depreciation! The car's remaining value (after deprecation) should be subtracted from the five year totals, meaning the "total cost after five years" values listed on the chart are all overstated by 20-50%.
(graphic has been updated, see note below)
I sent them a message this morning and they've updated the graphic. I'm still not completely happy with it, but it's more accurate now.

Cats are just going to do what they are going to do, they are so persistent and probably had to be shocked (surprised that is) several times to reinforce not being on the counter, and then they'll try again after a little while.
My cat is 20 years old and I can hear him trying to get on the counter at night. Boom! go the cabinets-he just can't quite get there easily anymore.
