I don’t think so. It’s a cheap way to make an outboard and you can use them in shallow water.  

And weeds and mud. They are called a Long Tail. You see them a lot in the swamps around here. 

They also race them in Thailand.

That looks to be a 73-76 Blazer. The entire roof came off of them for when you needed to go topless.

The outboard runs through weeds, bushes and very shallow water. It actually is not great for fishing while running

I loves me the Skyhawk - I've built more than 1 model of it, and you've gotta love any aircraft with a 50-year type service history.

But I was on the airshow circuit in the first half of the '70s, and I have to say, when the Blues downgraded from the F-4 in 1973, it was a major disappointment.  These things brought the thunder:

I'm not swayed. At 250kts, the A-4 has 720/sec. roll rate.

The A-4 Blue Angels were better than these guys, admittedly:

They were lame.  Pretty, but lame.

They do look more butch in black.
