I actually quite like that. I don't think I've ever seen a rwd VR6 before.
There was a turbo VR6-powered Miata bouncing around on the internet for a while. They used an RX7 transmission

They call it a "V6" now, but it has only one cylinder head, a 15 degree bank angle, and the intake ports are on one side and the exhaust ports on the other. It's a berkin' VR6.

indeed...but not realistic to jam in a straight 6 into a new miata. So a v6 with small dual pipes with no crossover should give the right soundtrack (up to about 4k)
