That's the kind of place that would've drawn me like a magnet when I was a kid.
Kids (including past me) are dumb.

E36 M3, I would be all up in that place right now, trespassing charge and potential bodily harm be damned. Abandoned places call to me.

My family lived in this, photo from about the time we moved out. So, yeah...
In reply to EastCoastMojo :
The fear of getting shot and/or arrested and having to explain that to my teenager are all that keep me away these days. There was a
Related Tahawus picture.

Remember the old house across from the fairgrounds on Trinity? Oakhurst Farms
So many times I wanted to explore that house, now it's been bulldozed.

Save me a spot next to you in booking.

I think I remember that, though I may be thinking of a plantation style house on Capital Blvd. There was also a cluster of what looked like round houses with chimneys in the middle of them off of Capital in Louisburg or somewhere that looked like nothing I had seen before. They looked old, and run down. They're all gone now, and every so often (like now) I remember them and it drives me crazy because I have no idea where they were and have never seen anything else like them.
This comes close, but I thought they were round. Maybe they just looked round at 60 MPH. And the chimney was in the middle.
Yesterday was breezy and ~40 degrees on the ground, more so at 11,800 feet. The vario below shows a climb of 1,000 fpm.

I would guess raised roof for headroom. It is an ambulance.
Unrelated

I'm guessing (note I said guess not fact) that it's something like the Land Rover Safari roof. It's a dummy roof for ventilation to the main passenger compartment.

This bugs me. Mostly because South Dakota doesn't even have a border with Canada. And I feel like this is one of those 'dumb American' things that should be a joke but I'm taking it too seriously.
Awww, oh well.

It's to get me motivated to go buy a Zetec already and stick it in the Renault 8 with the Type 1 VW transaxle and Kennedy Adapter I already own. But I can't find a picture of a Renault 8 with a Zetec.
