Saw a Maserati Ghibli which isn't super rare by any means, but it was parked outside the local Harbor Freight

Wrong...he's at BUR's Gate #5...walked right past him...wouldn't have noticed but everybody was snickering and pointing and the pot dog was pointing his paw at him saying "the rugs are right rare - the rugs are right rare".

Wow, from GRM's response about the rotary forged wheels I saw a thing that I want really badly. I'm not totally sure whether it's representative of the type, but at $450 a piece I'm... Relieved? that they don't offer the "Heritage" in less than 17" (I was hoping Heritage might denote something actually available for cars to which the word applies).
Whatever the cost/availability misgivings, hng!

At the time, it was a pretty big deal. $1345 for this one. And the Beta VHS wars hadn't been settled yet.

Point. I was just a wee kid in the late 70's early 80's so I vaguely remember the beginning of video rental stores. I do remember local stores carrying both formats though. Seems like Beta was thought to be better?
