Didn't the King Dork have an Imp once upon a time?
Now I know why there are none left. They have all been chopped into low racers. All 4 of mine were stock bodied Below is the first of them

I definitely care about Imps, which is why all those pictures make me sad. Don't get me wrong; they're awesome race cars. It just pains me to see that those probably all started out as real, actual Imps even though by now they are Grandfather's axe and nothing original is left. So they could have just built them out of glass to begin with and saved all those Imps for the world to enjoy.

Fair point, but please remember, when those cars were built (late 70's - 80's) the were throw away cars. Literally. I got my first Imp from the scrap yard for 50 British Pounds, about $80USD back in 1986. There was nothing wrong with it. Not a thing. It worked, ran, drove and passed the very strict British MOT test to be roadworthy with no attention, although I did re-paint it. It was in the Junk yard as it was a worthless car. If those tubs hadn't been turned into race cars they would have been a Honda Civic, a Mini and five different generations of toaster by now. Consider them as having been saved.
Must find the pics of my old Stiletto one day, here's one off the webz.
I want an Imp, never have money or time or space when one is available near me which I’ve kinda taken as a sign.
Settled for some other junk instead a number of times...

Farmer with a truck load of corn? Doesn't look like a forest area, so not a chip truck...

So, we went from Imps to amps. Did i miss something?
Sunrise, Isle of Springs, Maine. Someday I will buy a good camera again.
I was starting to get a little sick of all the Imp pictures even though I used to be a huge Rootes group fan.
