It probably means I'm a sicko, but I'll take the one on the right.

No, you'd be a sicko if you wanted the one on the left.

Ah, the Trash 80. We had a lab of those in 7th grade. Just a couple years after your BASIC lessons.

The Radio Shack "tech" couldn't figure out why the network wasn't working. I figured it out and talked our teacher into letting my buddy and I fix it.

I guess I spent more time messing with the RS 160-in-one kit than the tech did...

My first computer. Yes, it was one of the beige ones right before the end. Dad bought a used XT in less than a year from getting the TI. Then got an XT clone which eventually led to my career.

Time to get away from the keyboard and get some car stuff done today. Need to go retrieve the cab from one of these this afternoon:

My first computer, although I first learned to program on a PET. I think we had the 8k memory expansion. I once wrote a multimedia presentation on the VIC about optical illusions for a grade 6 (I think) class, using various graphics to illustrate. I still have the tape somewhere. Anyone got a VIC with a working tape drive?

I thought this was the E36 M3 back in the day. Last Apple I ever touched and I've been using PCs since. I think I need to try another Apple just to see what I've been missing.

I have "temporarily permanently" fixed cars like that before (though with slightly more panache, thicker can material, and exhaust clamps rather than zip ties.)

One would imagine a 7 time F1 champion would have more presence of mind than to try an outside pass on his teammate and oversteer into a spin, without provocation. Though one would also imagine he would know that Rascasse was not a parking spot in 2006....
