What you are missing is the front quarter or so of a crankshaft with the damper, one rod, and part of the timing chain and timing cover still attached. And a main web and cap off to the side, with no rest of block to be seen. Looked like it might have been Ford.
I don't know what happened, but I bet it was glorious until it self disassembled.
Got playing around with the Porsche 718 configurator (Because that's the only Porsche that interests me) and built the GT4 of my dreams. Too bad its $125,850.

I ran a backhoe for 3 years and filled up at a gas station every day.
Best backhoe I ever ran until I broke one of the arms on the front bucket.

I was taking the 1486 a mile down the highway to the Citgo and putting fuel on dad's tab well before I had a learners permit.
Dad eventually got a 500 gallon diesel tank for the farm, and had the fuel brought to him.
