Hmm, isn't that the prototype for the crosstour?
Edit: this is a contemporary photo, rides are available somewhere in Ohio, I think this week or coming up soon.

Watched part of a Woodstock documentary with my son, "Look, no fat people back then".
Yeah, Al Gore hadn't invented the Internet yet....
Bob: Red, a Toyota?
Red: Yeah, it's mine. I tell you the last time I was that close to a Japanese machine, it was shooting at me.
In reply to Appleseed :
Then the writers realized the timing was wrong, and retconned Red to have fought in the Korean war instead of WWII.

So I woke up, had breakfast, and having nothing else to do, decided to read about the weapons of the Korean War to fact-check my gut reaction from back when I religiously watched That 70's Show.
I didn't want to go RIGHT for looking for the weapons that the KPA used, because that might put you on a list somewhere, and I ended up Wiki-walking for.. uh... 3 hours now. And I am disappointed that none of the articles I read had a "In popular culture" link to a Sabaton album/song. The Korean "police action" was berking mental.
But, as it turns out, yes, the KPA did in fact use a lot of Japanese or Japanese-designed pistols, rifles, and machine guns. Also some Chinese copies of American things, too.
RD: Woodstock wasn’t peace and love. There was an awful lot of shouting and screaming going on. By the time it all ended, the worst sides of our nature had come out. People were screaming at the promoters, people were screaming to get paid. We had to get paid, or we couldn’t get back home.

In reply to Wally :
"I asked Max Hirsh, a transportation researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, and he explained that bus routes tend to be designed for people who have "a smaller radius of operations," and for "people who have more time than money.""
So that's why it takes so long for 5 people to get off and for two people to get on.
At least in Europe they have the excuse of over crowding.

How off could the timing have been though? My dad was born in 57, his dad was in WW2, my mom in 54 and her dad fought in Korea. Either was fairly close to being Foremans age when the show was to take place

Or, many Korean vets were also WWII vets, especially pilots. My theory is he fought in both.

Wait... Beyond the mind-shock of seeing a Town & Country with European places... WTF is that thing behind it?

It is, I guess, possible... my parents were exactly the main casts's age during the time the show was set, and Grandpa rode a destroyer in the Pacific in the early 40s. Nobody in my family had an import until my youngest aunt bought a Renault Encore, though.
(She still feels it was the best car she ever owned. She currently owns the world's cleanest second generation Fit)

That’s actually a Chrysler Voyager-that’s how it’s branded there lol. The TF? It’s just turning into the lane making it look like the ugliest Excalibur ever.
