Looks like device is UN*X based, iirc those systems start time on 1/1/1970 vs IBM-PC based 1/1/1980. Which will be fun in 2038 when the bitfield runs out of seconds and overflows.
Meanwhile, at Midtronics:
Yeah, my computer literate friends explained why it reverted to 1970. The issue was that I had the vehicle inside, so it lost Onstar satellite connection, and then I asked the radio when it had last checked for over-the-air updates and because it couldn't connect to Onstar and determine when it had last updated, it freaked and just reverted to 1/1/1970. It was still funny to see the radio say it had last updated 50 years before it had been made.

It was no P-47 Thunderbolt, but I wouldn't say the P40 was a bad airplane, its just that early on in the war, they didn't know how to use them properly. Once they figured that out, they were a pretty tough plane and kicked ass in China and Africa. And, man, do they check all the right boxes as far as style. I prefer the P-40 over the P-51.
It was most certainly a better bird than the Brewster Buffalo.

I think you have your planes mixed up. The P-47 was nicknamed the Jug.

That's what I get for posting quickly while I should be working...

Well, if we’re talking Allison V12s, might as well have two.
Italians: Let's take 2 Fiat V12s, bolt them nose to tail, stick in an open cockpit floatplane and go 441mph in 1934. Make sure the record still stands. Oh, and paint it red. (Duh)

Oh man, love the Tigercat.

And, yes, I realize the irony of that comment when there's an Arado photo-bombing the corner of the pic.
