Internet foul! Only two of those are Tigersharks!!! (the shame)
That middle one is a Warhawk (or Tomahawk later Kittyhawk in Brittish service, Hawk in French service)
That is an early P-40, in AVG / Flying Tigers service. You can always tell the early P-40's and prototype P-38's because the centerline of the prop is in line with the crank because they do not have gear reduction units. Early P-40 also have a noticeably shorter fuselage.
Here is a later model (note center line of propeller is in line with the exhaust stacks / heads):
Prototype P-38 (no gear reduction):

I figured somebody would bring that up. My response: That was the model, but the nose paint was based on a tiger shark.
Since someone (!) got the fire thread locked:
The X on the map below shows where they suspect the fire started. There are NO powerlines there, only a trail. So... it seems likely this was lite by someone(!!!). The circles are what appear to be water tanks, the bigger one to the left is the one that was empty. It's a bit hard to tell from the fire maps, but the entire The Summit area appears to be un-burnt (I thought it previously was) since the fire drove directly down in the picture below. Most of the houses and buildings on the bottom of the photo are either destroyed or damaged.
Currently, it appears as if all active fires are out. The primary concern at this point is any smoldering / embers which the hand crews I am sure are working feverishly to get rid off.
It was supposed to be windy today, but it really was not. It's actually almost dead calm now (I am in a high wind area and subject to potential power cut offs again). It is predicted to be windy tomorrow also (not as bad as last week), so we can hope it's not.
The other large fire (Altadena) appears to have been started at the base of a high tension power line (there is video). A smaller file in the San Fernando Valley and another in Venture, were obviously human started.
There have been numerous arrests for curfew violations and a number of actual looting arrests and likely many more looting occurrences. There was even two cases of people impersonating officials (one police, one fire). As I many time say, it only takes a very small % of people being a-holes to cause massive trouble for many others.
There have been a pretty large response for donations to those affected, which is nice (I highly suspect there are un-affected a-holes taking advantage of that....).

Not what you'd expect in a mall parking lot after sundown; 190SL drop top, GT 500, F-430 moved out of the fire zone before the fire.
