Hey now. Nice jugs.
And have you priced plain gas cans today? They are like ten bucks a gallon.
I recently bought 2ea 20L metal "Jerry-style" cans from Sportsmans Guide. They were like $25 ea plus a pouring spout. I also bought some "repair kits" or whatever they call them for the total POS over-complicated leaking non-flowing garbage spouts on the other "newer" cans.

Worth a link, IMO.
Some of his complaints aren't complaints at all, but whining for the sake of whining.
Summit sells "liquid containers" that are totally not for gasoline but they are marked in gallons and liters, hold 20 liters/a little over 5 gallons, and are available in red, yellow, blue, and white/clear. Big lid with a NPT thread in it so you can put a pour nozzle/hose on it if you wish.
They work with gasoline just fine.

Too funny. Buying gas cans for off-road use only.
To be fair, if you spill a half gallon of gasoline, you have just polluted more than a new car will emit over something like 200,000 miles, both as exhaust and evaporative emissions.
Food for thought.
Meanwhile, in the past:
When that video started my daughter laughed and said “ Dad is watching Star Wars”. Not sure what that means except the canned music of an era are pretty noticeable...
The last can I got had a spout like this:
and seems to work pretty well. Flow is not as fast as the old school cans, but no spillage and super easy on/off.
I don't mind how slow they are, my biggest beef is how much ends up being wasted. I feel like I'm captain of the Exxon Valdez every time I fill my mower.
Only the government wouldn't understand the value of a separate spout and vent in a closed container.
The people that make these mandatory gas can valves are the kind of people that pay someone to cut their grass.
Ive got one that’s not terrible, but it’s kind of a pain when it’s loaded with 5 gallons of fuel and you’re trying to hold it with one hand while operating the valve with the other.
I usually end up using the big 5 gal race jugs, and have the plunger style for my 2 stroke mix. The spring type are a joke, even on the big 5 gallon race jugs. The VP jugs are better than Tough Jugs.
I'll take this opportunity to also complain about the TINY gas tank on my honda mower. I almost always dump fuel when I fill up. It makes a mess and I end up dripping on the lawn and killing spots of grass.
No-Spill cans are pricey, but after using them for a few years, I've found that they actually live up to their name.
