FWIW, the theater is a few exits south of the Speedway. Traffic shouldn't be that big of a problem, but I'll still probably take backroads since I live north of there

Tom, I'll probably take the same road that you will. Want to carpool (as long as that doesn't make me a candidate for a patio expansion)?
I would, but I have to pick up my girlfriend on the way there, and I'll probably get ice cream or something with her afterwards.
By the way, it's hard to explain you people to an outsider.
"So, there is this online forum for the magazine, and we're a fairly close knit group, and, uh, we're all going to see a children's movie together. Btw they're all adults. Oh and all of their cars are like mine, old and modified. Wanna come with?"

Thanks....no pressure there. I was going to use the corolla and enjoy the A/C and radio on the trip. Now I feel like I should use the Geo that lacks those things.

Oh boy, this could sure be taken the wrong way. I know what ice cream leads to...
I can't say anything on this site without you people twisting my words and finding different meanings...
You know, I didn't think anything of it until it was brought up. HiTempguy sure turned up the temperature in here.
I'm still in for sneaking food in. I'll buy their $5 soda, but if I really want food, I want whatever they've run out of for the night.
Does anyone perhaps want to terrify the Harbor Freight before we go? It's far enough from the track, and you can take a different exit to get there.

Hell, it's a good thing you haven't met me in real life! "Smart ass, meddler, E36 M3 disturber" are all names I am well accustomed to!

If that's excluded from "Say What?" just because you're on staff, sue for emancipation.
sweet.
I am not sure that HF is a good idea, though...Why buy on the 2nd when they have a 25 percent off sale on the 4th
I'm an hour away from the nearest store, that's why. I've been buying most of my stuff locally anyway, because I've wanted quality on a lot of stuff. It's still fun to look.

A quote from the new bride of one of my racing buddies, at a BBQ/bench-racing/beer drinking session, "Don't any of you people have NORMAL cars!!!".
Alright, I want to confirm everything.
We're meeting at the Hollywood Theater in Port Orange for the showing at 7:00PM tomorrow, July, 2.
I have to make a junkyard run, and I'm trying to decide if I should go to the small one in town or hit the LKQ. Would anyone want to go junkyarding, grab a bite to eat, then go to the movie?
I would, but I have to finish a B20 swap into my friends integra. Should be done around 4, hopefully. I need to get out to LKQ to pull some injectors out of a 300zx for my Z.
B20 into an Integra shouldn't take more than about 45 minutes. All kidding aside, would you wanna head out there after doing that? I just need a couple of parts for my Jeep that I can get in town. Sometimes it's just nicer to go with someone to bounce bad ideas off of.
When is good for you to meet? I'd like to avoid the heat of the day, but that's not entirely possible. 3 or so? I'm an hour and 15 out on a normal day, so keep that in mind.
Maybe, this car is disgusting, so I have to degrease the engine bay/crossmember, then pull the trans put a new clutch/pressure plate/flywheel, put the trans and motor together, drop the motor in, then just hook everything up. I might be able to get it done by 3.
I decided to do some fun work under my Jeep. I still have to get the transmission mount back in place. It shouldn't be too bad, once I figure out which way it sits in the mount holder. I think it's been backwards all along.
