Oh.... and a new Caprice Wagon SS. Please and thank you. Yes I know the wagon was never sold as an "SS". No cares. I want it and I want it yesterday.

Why are we not surprised by pinch's comment?

Like few people before me. Something like 2nd Gen (or 3rd Gen if it has to be that way) Toy Supra.

Wow. I started reading this thread quite certain that every other post would mention the Mazda RX-7. I think I saw like 3 posts . I am very disappointed in you people!

Let me be clear: Mazda RX-7 Turbo II. A turbocharged rotary that offered excellent performance without being fragile or hopelessly complicated.

I want something that has excellent outward visibility. That has a ton of cargo space. Something that's big on the inside, smallish on the outside, and has great parking lot manners. Something that gets decent fuel economy yet tows 3000+ lbs. Something that has comfortable seating, but is simple enough to survive the apocalypse, and is almost guaranteed to last 350,000 miles.

None of them.

Auto makers have already shown what damage they can do when they try to revive an old model.

I'm glad GM didn't get a chance to go all "General Motors" on a new Trans-Am.

New Fiat Spider, or a modern B210!
