I thought this was pretty neat.
The end product might not be as refined as off-the-shelf lenses, but I feel like this is a very GRM-esque way to get fancy lenses for your camera.

I have tried to make the disposable lens cap for my Sony a7iii but had some issues with the focus being off. I need to take a second shot at that now that I have a 3D printer.
Canon FD mount, please? :)
File under something else extreme that I’d like to try one day: ISO 1 film.
ISO 100?
No, ISO 1.

Good for taking pictures of the sun.
I admit I didn't watch the whole video. Much like ISO 1 film, I just don't have time for that. I saw he printed the lens body, but I missed the part where he made the optical elements of the lens. How did he make the lens elements?

Knowing my luck, I'd still manage to underexpose it.

The big front one came from a projector of some kind, and the focal correction ones internally came out of a donor TV camera lens.

Hey I've shot the ISO 1.6 film before and I still have one roll of it. If you don't mind shooting at F1.4 and at shutter speeds 1/100 to 1/250 in the day light it wasn't that bad lol.

Tempting–although I believe my fastest lens is f/1.8. Still, might try some....

You'll be fine with a f1.8 lens especially if it is sunny out.
I do recommend using a more modern autofocus fim SLR to use it though. I had to manually set the ISO to the lowest. On mine, it was ISO 12 + 3 stops overexposed.
My A-1 can go down to ISO 6. Hmmm.

Just out of curiosity, I checked my cameras.
The lowest the K1000 can go is 20, though the Canon Rebel can go to 6.
Looks like my EOS Elan IIE can also go down to ISO 6.
