How many things have you heard that you should do for a certain amount of time, per day, or even several times per day? Brushing teeth, exercise, reading to kids, vacuuming, drinking water, stretching, preparing fresh foods...the list goes on and on. It made me think that the "experts" recommend more than we actually have time for in a day.
So I am putting together a list, and would appreciate anything someone has told you that you should do daily, or weekly, or on any regular schedule.

Smile.
Laugh.
I do both at least 3-5 times per hour, unless I'm asleep.
Doctors used to recommend/endorse cigarettes. So I always wonder who is REALLY going to benefit from these recommendations? Chances are someone else is getting more out of it than I am.
There's only one thing I'm sure to do every day.
When I was younger (and dumber some might argue), I would make sure to hit 100 mph at least once a day. My drive to work was on long empty roads with minimal law enforcement presence, so it wasn't difficult. Sure made me smile and feel great hearing the engine from my 525i go through the gears. The roads closer to work got twistier and I'd practice my heel-toe, trail braking, etc. So basically, I'd make sure to drive like an shiny happy person at least once a day. LOL
Don't do that anymore though. Family, kids, maturity, etc. I guess has made me boring.
This thread was made simply to come up with as many synonyms as possible for self pleasure.
Speaking of self pleasure, looks like a canoe sailed in from New Jersey.

Interrogating the prisoner.
Things that people say you should do every day/weekly:
Breathe, eat, sleep.
Drink a gallon of water.
Exercise 20 minutes a day.
Make your bed.
Brush your teeth. Floss.
Get dressed.
Check the obituaries. If you're not on the list, go to work.
Pray when you wake up and when you to go sleep. Say grace at meals.
Drink a glass of wine.
Go to church on Sundays.
Go on a date with spouse/SO once a week.
Take a shower.
Call your parents at least once a week.
Clean the bathroom once a week.
Do at least one good deed a day.
At the end of the day, tell your wife how she made you feel loved that day and vice versa.
That's about all I've got off-hand.
There was an article I read yesterday on Yahoo News titled "Twelve Things to Do to Improve your Relationship". The more important ones are:
Say "Thank you & Please"
Kiss you spouse every morning when you wake up
Do the Dishes
and the most important one!
Grab your spouses butt everyday!
Spend at least 15 minutes in the garage.
Hey, this is a car forum.

15 minutes isn't enough to do anything but mourn for all the unfinished things in plain view.
- Spend at least 2hrs in the garage.
Damn... same problem.
Exercise is the hard one for me.

Whoa! Thanks for the reminder. Don't forget to wash your hands too!
If I did all the things you were 'supposed' to do every day, I'd never have time to do the most important thing, go to work!
Make a list.
Ignore list.
Drink beer.
It's a short list.

15 minutes keeps things fresh. If you only go into the garage when you have at least 2 hours, you'll get less done. Sometimes that 15 minutes turns into 2 hours, sometimes not. But it keeps the latest project from getting stagnant.
