They have a sale on 2x4x8s. $2/stick. Today only.

How many 2x4's do I need to make those car jack up blocks?

They cost $3 - once you get the rebate it's only good at Menards and you end up buying the wife tulip bulbs, Simple Green, peanuts or bags of tortilla chips you don't need. 

Menards is awesome, I miss living close to one.  They have precut stair stringers in longer lengths (all we have here is 8 step):

For only ~double what the 2x12x16 costs.  I would happily pay that to save the time for building stairs for my barn loft.

I spend my Menards rebates on Hershey's Chocolate Covered Pretzels....I'm up to 201 LB now!
