I have a friend named Annette. Her nickname (and screen name she uses on forums) is NoNo.
In reply to WOW Really Paul?:
No I get it. We bent the internet, you know people looked at that and went elsewhere.
Stupid question but who is this Amy everyone keeps mentioning? Whatever happened must have happened while I was away from the forums.
I lack all comprehension on why this is a bad thread.
I look at it as no different than "I sure do miss that car, I shouldn't have let that one go."
What am I missing?
Probably Amy... That was pretty wild and you just knew it was going away, so had to keep checking it before it vaporized.
I missed most of these threads. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I sort of feel like the kid who made it through highschool without trying drugs (true!), but on the other hand I feel like the kid who didn't kiss a girl till he was 19(not true! Barely, lol!).

Assuming we're allowed to talk about it:
As I recall that was the one that involved OP reminiscing about banging 2-3 chicks at the same time (IIRC #3 pissed off the other 2), a potentially long lost child, and everybody recommending OP continue to stay far, far, away from the situation.
In reply to BrokenYugo:
Close, #1 had a girlfriend that was shared. One of them had a daughter, the daughter was off limits, OP did daughter. Many of the characters were named Amy. There was a possibility of a baby being the OP's by one of the Amy's.

Lots and lots of Amy content.....
Or vineyard vines... Noone should wear vineyard vines.
F u and your stupid pants with whales on them.
I was aware of the thread about the dealer, but I have no clue as to the fogger Jr...
Probably for the best.
GGA thread started off well. Pictures of attractive women that wouldn't have made a nun blush but migrated so far down the NSFW rabbit hole that I wouldn't even open it at home if the spousal unit or offspring were around. Ruined by taking it too far.
Fogger Jr was pure awesome, but it was the right thing for long term employability of the OP for it to be removed at his request. Copies are out there on hard drives.
Amy thread was bizarre, at first I thought it was sort of fan fiction. I only got the start and first couple of pages before being so pissed off with the board in general I gave myself a self-imposed time out and didn't visit for a while. In fact even after coming back the place just isn't the same and I spend less time here than I used too.
Almost all threads on politics and guns come under the should never have been started let alone end up being banned or locked. There were a couple that really stick out. The first was the troll who got banned for being unbelievably misogynistic about one of female members who also unfortunately left in large part because of that thread, the other was the pointing a gun at the guy who drove past a house too fast thread. On the whole the bar for getting locked, deleted, banned is set about right, although i wish it were lower at times.
There was also the short lived one about the dash cam and the wind blowing...some of the responses were hilarious, but a few people got really upset.

That sounds right.
Fogger Jr thread was awesome, we all know somebody like that guy. I've since referred to a former co-worker as Fogger2 in somewhat honor and total substance of the original post... but we all oughta know what Fogger means by now. Totally understandable that the OP requested it to be removed.
IIRC, the OP of the Amy thread was only searching for much needed advice from the hive for some dalliances in his younger days. Answer was found, thread was never banned but removed upon request as stated in original post.
Probably just best to let these old threads go, live on in memory.... but let 'em go.

Very true with just let them live in memory.....it's more fun to make people wonder wtf you're referencing anyways.
