Wow. I really have missed some interesting threads I guess. As a mod on popular car forum I compleetly understand the need for this.
On a side note I never like banning anyone. I just don't like doing it. It is a very necessary thing but it just does not ever feel good to have to do it. I thought I would like being a mod. To have the power!!!! In reality with power comes more responsibility not more fun.

That is the greatest beer in the world. Cheap and plentiful. And I do not have a pair of skinny jeans or a tattoo.

Every-once in a while, I like to foist this beverage on friends when its my turn to pickup beer. And I will gleefully drink it as I watch everyone else do the same, because free beer is better than no beer, even if the free beer is worse than Black Label bwahahahaha 
Bottom shelf connoisseur here, You can generally do better than PBR for the same or less money. You just have to look a bit harder, the various regional macro beers are generally better. Around here it's Hamm's, perfect lawn mowing and wrenching beer, doesn't have the weird metallic taste PBR has, usually (batches seem to vary) doesn't turn nasty the second it gets above 40 degrees, and costs something like $13+deposit (several bucks less than PBR) for a 30 rack. Genesee Cream Ale is another good example in my area, costs around the same as PBR, much better beer.
I only buy PBR when it's the only thing the gas station has in cheap tallboys that's better than Busch.

Actually, Natty Light is my go-to cheap beer. Leaves more room for crab dip.
PBR is crap.
I would drink while playing flip cup or beer pong but that is about it.
Interesting PBR notes- there was an article on NPR's All Things Considered where there are a bunch of people reviving the actual PBR, and many of the brands that were part of it's history. Wonder what happens when drinking PBR stops being ironic, and just a fad- which will stop the hypesters from drinking that brand anymore.

My father went through a PBR phase... after he quit working and couldn't afford Molsen Red label. It was horrible then. It's horrible now. I was 17 at the time... I didn't drink beer again until I discovered Guinness in my mid-20's.
Long ago I decided I would not drink crap beer. If the place I'm at doesn't have a beer I like, then I won't have beer at all and just drink water.
I like cheap beer as much as the next guy. I understand the draw of PBR, but tend to stick to the regional stuff (Olympia, Rainier, or Sessions). Anybody that says their favorite brand of cheap canned lager doesn't have the metallic taste is lying. It's there, I promise you. It just might not be as prevalent.
Cheap beer is for the shop. Good beer is for the house.

I think there is a such thing as a good cheap beer (Honey Brown Lager and Narragansett Lager come to mind).
