Who the heck doesn't move over when they see the five-oh in the rear-view no matter their current velocity? Or any car with a velocity higher than yours (traffic permitting)
I hate people that do that, I hope that guy in the Civic shat himself. I don't say this often, but that cop was awesome.
IIRC it's now a law here in GA.
There is only one instance of me not moving over for a cop (in a non-emergency situation.) He pulled out behind me on a long road on my way home in the Aspire one day. I maintained speed (about 3 or 4 under the speed limit), even though he was riding my ass pretty hard. At the time, the turn signals didn't work, so I kept going straight...about 4 miles past where I had intended to turn....

Various roof racks are good enough till you get up close. There was one where I used to live that I mistook fora cop every few days. But I knew the one time I figured it was him and ignored him would be the time it really was a cop.

I'm just still sweating that the LEOs around here are switching to the Dodges, and I don't have the headlight pattern memorized yet (I drive at night a lot).
EDIT: Great vid!
I've seen a few police cars with light bars now that are thinner than anything I've seen before. Seeing one in the rear view mirror would never trip off my "that's a cop car" sense.

Me too. I've just FINALLY learned the chargers, and now all this talk about Tauruses and Caprices.....
State troopers here seem to have gone to unmarked cars with no light bars- all inside the front and back windows- in Chargers I believe
When I lived in Virginia a few years back, I was traveling on I-664 heading northbound over/ through the Monitor Merrimac bridge tunnel. The tunnel portion has solid white lines and signs that tell you to not change lanes in the tunnel. I was in the left lane at the entrance to the tunnel and I could see blue lights coming up fast behind me. There wasn't a lot of traffic. I sped up to clear the vehicles in the right lane figuring the cop would have an easy time getting through. No shoulders in the tunnel, just the two lanes and hard tile walls. The dude gets right on my bumper like I was that civic in the video. I was going about 5 over. I was patiently waiting for him to pass on the right. I wasn't going to cross the solid line in violation of all the posted signs. Dude was pissed. Kept getting closer and closer - I thought he was going to do a pitt maneuver on my right in the tunnel. He started motioning for me to violate the law and move over to let his sorry ass pass. I really didn't want to hold him up, but felt I was in a catch-22. I was just as pissed at him as he was at me, I'm sure. After I crossed the solid line he went on at warp speed going wherever it was that he had to be.
Romulus MI PD has a Durango. I saw it in the median of I-275 near the I-94 interchange yesterday afternoon. I didn't know there was a cop version. Maybe for the way they use it, they decided a cop version was not necessary.
At first I was concerned by how he was riding that bumper. But totally okay once I saw what he did. Any cops on here? Do this more often. Lets make the passing lane what it should be. I will be showing this to my DE class next week for sure.

In our parts, they have also gone to the Chargers, but they still look cop car-ish... sinister dark hues, dark tint, and dark wheels... basically they want their cars to look like a pair of badass shades.
