After almost 24 years of being a great truck, I sold my 1995 C1500. Now I want to buy a 1984-1987 Chevrolet C20. Two wheel drive, 3/4 ton tow pig. I may only drive it a thousand miles per year. Maybe I'll put an LS motor in it some day. I want it to look like it looked when it came off the dealer showroom.
I've been perusing Craigslist, Ebay and Autotrader, but it seems more cars are being listed on Facebook. When I sold my truck, I got no hits from Craigslist, but a ton from FB.
What would be the best site to find an old, but not necessarily classic truck? Right now, I don't want to spend more than $3500, and I expect to drive South for less rust.
I don't facebook, so other than Craigslist? Autotrader? Local classifieds? Sitting on the side of the road with a "For Sale" sign in it?
That's all I got.
Oh, and my 1985 C30 has been a great truck. Pretty sure I'll never sell it.
Good luck!
Edit: C10's I see pretty often. The C20, far less frequently.
