Good looking Aztek??

My mind went here.

My Escort looks better than the best looking Aztec.

It is ugly. The painted body cladding helped, much like putting a bad on Sandra Burnhard makes her look better.

i love the thing. the 60*v6 is a time tested platform and there is a crapload of room inside. the all black rendezvouseses with chrome rims are sexytime. i want a mildly lifted awd one with real tires.

This one's a little showy, but the potential is there. I wonder what kind of mileage they get in AWD?

You may notice (aside from the obvious drop and huge rims) that what makes the "good" looking Aztec such is the radiused wheel arches. The square openings on the stock vehicle are downright awkward.

Agreed. Delete the side exhaust port and the strake coming back from the front arch and it would tone it down enough to make it awesome.

Axiom looks good. VehiCROSS doesn't look bad, just different.

I've always liked the Aztec though...loved it in Yellow and Grey ;)

Either way, I've seen it before and it looks fantastic.

Seems there was an article on the car above in Autoweek a long time ago when I subscribed. IIRC a bunch of Pontiac engineers built it more or less just for the hell of it.
