I would clarify but I don't think you care since my position was pretty clearly stated and my internal conflict was made clear. You chose to ignore it. It seemed like you were asking for opinions and I gave mine. I could have used gentler wording, but I could have used harsher wording too. I think I struck a good balance.

follow the money, or in this case, the power. i bet if you were to look deeper into it, if a dead person happens to get elected, someone somewhere gets to appoint their "replacement"

Had a local case of the run for city councilman. In the primaries, one candidate was thrown out by technicalities. so he decided to run as an independent. He got elected.
