If you like the gameplay of Dirt, but want to get a little more serious, F1 2010 is a very fun game! Exhilarating, and it really dramatizes the feeling of the overtake! You actually have to WORK for it!
(rain racing is really hard though!)

Thanks. Ill have to look into that.
So, here's the 7 cars that are going to be included in the Forza Ultimate Collection, or FUC for short (more like what they're doing to their core customer base). •Lancia 037 Stradale •Jaguar D-Type •Plymouth Cuda •Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro •Audi TT RS Coupe •Audi R15 TDI •Porsche 550A Spyder
Hopefully, if they're smart, they'll release those cars as DLC as well. But I'm not holding my breath. The Lancia was supposed to be in the Jalopnik pack where people voted for the cars they wanted. Seems strange that they would release it in this pack if it was supposed to be in the Jalopnik DLC. And the Audi's already came out in various DLC packs, so I'm not sure why they're there. Special paint jobs maybe?
I won't be in the late room tonight. I am driving down to "beautiful" button willow, California so I can be there early for tomorrows test of the lemons car...
I think a lack of a new series is killing us. Lets do a builders series it will last three weeks.
Week 1 1980 - 1989 cars PI 425
Week 2 1990 - 1999 cars PI 425
Week 3 2000 - 2009 cars PI 425
To keep things consistent we will race 5 laps on each of the following tracks:
Laguna Seca
Road Atlanta
Catalunya

I fully support this idea. I will be there. begin builds...NOW!
Ooh. Interesting! Most of the C cars I've already built are either too old, or too young for the formula. Count me in if there's a late room. I live in the East, but work 2nd shift with rotating days off..and don't recall how soon Thursday's in that rotation. (I can tell one day from another, I've just been working such schedules for so long that I don't care anymore.. )
In reply to Platinum90:
I like this plan and would like to join as well. When will the races happen so I can warn my wife and kids?
Seeing as it was just fink and I don't mind punting the start of the series to next week...
Hrm the 944T seems to be a popular option, I think I am going to have to go build something else...

My severe anti-Porsche bias (not really) will ensure I'm driving something else. (really)
VW GTI? AE-86? Firebird? There are lots of good choices 80-89...
racerfink and I both had 951's. Their is enough "Play" in the formula where I am sure I can build something fun and different...
I was torn between a 930 and a Celica Supra.
If there had been a Fox Mustang, I may have been swayed to that one though.

There's a Fox chassis Mustang in F3. I've got one. Can't recall where I found it (won it for an achievement or downloaded it), but if you want it, I'll gift it to ya..
