I'm afraid I don't know, maybe some of the other guys will. It's worth it to try though.
I've been running Bspec events all day today to replenish all the credits I've been using buying up some of these great cars that showed up after the last update. The problem I used to have with my computer loosing router signal hasn't happened all day.
Consider changing the Channel of the router. I don't know if you have any outside routers near you, but having them on the same channel can be an issue. The channels will even bleed over. The default channel is usually one, so avoid that. Channel 4 or 6 are probably a better bet.
The new Seasonal Expert events are berkeleying HARD!
Nah, over tune the car and use the power limiter. Got 2nd in the fiat race easy, the 111R race I had to overtune to get 2nd, and I haven't run the WRX event seriously yet. My WRX came out as a Ken Block drift car and is too much fun to sling around.

Yeah, that's what i've been doing, but still having a hard time.
I can share my cars if you would like?
I think it's a matter of actually learning to tune suspensions in my case. Share if you want, but i'm determined anyways. I've gotten 5th on two of them so far. Elise and Subie.
I did the 500 and got second fairly easily without any mods (but a good 10 seconds behind 1st), but the Elise one seems pretty much impossible without messing with the car a lot. I did three laps and maybe pulled .5 second on the last car! Lots of money to be had though.
If you want to practice with your Corvette, you can run it in the super car race, but it destroys the cars there. It was actually a pretty good race (probably can't win though) running a maxed out Europa in it. Unfortunately the Europa only goes to about 250, otherwise it is great fun driving with race softs.
I did pick up one of the F1 cars for the heck of it and will probably get one of the full body race cars before the prices go back up.

I've only tried the Fiat race so far. Got 4th with a stock car and 3rd was in sight. Another half a lap and I would've had him. It was awful boring though. Need to buy the right cars I think for the other races. I think I have the Elise (I have 4 or so of them in one form or another), and I have a new STI, but not sure if it is the BBS wheel option or not.

Nick, my PS3 is using a wireless connection to my router and I rarely have any problems. You don't have to turn off your firewall all together, just put your PS3 into a DMZ. I did that and I really haven't had many issues at all with staying online since. I followed some online walkthrough of how to do it.

I don't know why they mention the BBS wheel option. Just buy the 2010 STi Sedan in the new car dealership, it works.

Yeah, I bought one this morning. Tried the race with the car bone stock and never having driven it before. Gained a few places, but no where near the big money. I used the RM Z06 in all the supercar races though. That is free money. I did Tsukuba 4 or 5 times. Not challenging, but good vette driving practice and I used the money to buy a Pescarillo Judd race car (C60 Hybride) and a Ford Falcon race car and the bentley race car. I might go back and do it another time or two and pick up the C5R Vette as well. I got a new horn for reaching 230 cars.
I've shated my 111R and WRX for your money winning pleasure. Should be up all weekend.

The supercar race prize is $300k or so and only takes about 6 minutes at Tsukuba. That is a honey pot. I'll make a go at the Elise and Subie races before they go away, but I doubt they can beat the $ per effort that the supercar race provides.

I use the Eifel race for money, 490k and doesn't take much more than tsukuba. I use the GT1 Turbo.
Oh, sorry, t***uba. That should appease the silly GT5 censors.
As a side note, the Z06 RM is an awesome car, if I can keep the brakes from locking up I'm pretty good with it.
E: Also, my bluetooth headset appears to be going wonky, I have to turn the volume up on the mic every time I go into a room, and even then it only works half the time. I've only had it for a few months, so I'd really hate to have to buy a new one. Anyone got any ideas what's wrong?
Ok, with DMZ, do you notice anything big that happens? I put my address for DMZ and saved the changes and I don't really notice any real difference, i'm doing good with the connection so far and it seems I can join better!
Well thank you Brad for letting me loan your Scoob and Elise, got second in the STI race and first in the Elise race, the Elise race was FUN!! I setup the suspension right and really geared it for acceleration. First time doing it I got to third but I also screwed up so before I finished I restarted and drove like I meant it! Did minimal drifting but managed to keep the race clean and did some nice late braking on the opponents, especially in turn 1. I saved the replay because of how great the race was but also, the last lap was AWESOME, I was in second and closing on the first place Elise the whole way until the second to last corner, late broke and was glad it stuck because I was able to ease on the throttle and suck up behind him, caught up to him by the last corner, watched him brake and I was right on his ass around the whole corner, got on it right away by 3/4 of the turn and just went for it, shot out from behind him and made the sprint towards the finish.....won by one thousandth
Gots me the Zonda LM car as a gift
