I came across a company named Purple Platypus. After dragging my mind out of the gutter, I visited their site. I'm blown away by the price of rapid prototyping technology. Brand new 3D printers can be had for $4K. Someday, they'll be $999. It'd be kinda cool to relocate that driven accessory or test out varied geometry like the big race teams.
