(Sorry. I'm having trouble trying to hot link a photo with this "stupid" "smartphone.")

Saw the "lion car" (as seen on the hot links thread) many years ago. Would love to have one similar but without the lion and its seat.

How would you build it?

I think it's something from a Richard Scarry book?

Sorry. How's this?

I'm guessing it started as a Model T.

^That was never a Model T.

Looks like a pretty generic '30s hot-rod anyway, it would be pretty simple to build: beam axle up front, solid axle in the back, attached to a basic chassis with leaf springs and then you slap a body on top. Similar to, but even simpler than a belly-tank landspeeder.

Also, "The lion represents the fear"

I would advocate putting a 350 in the right seat, and covering it with a hollowed out stuffed lion. The mouth would be the air intake!

Would cast motorcycle wheels work on a light car, or do you think they'd fail with side-loading?
