There is nothing it can be that is good. Get rid of it ASAP. I'd try and find out coyly like I said before if you care about trying to help though.

What do you think, they have fifteen CSI departments just waiting to identify things? I am pretty sure that 'brushing your teeth with it' E36 M3 is just movies.

The ONLY way I'd do this is tell them it was your dads, and you want to know what it is so you know what to do with any more you find. But that might mean that they end up searching your moms house. Would you be ok with that?

Have you tried a google search?

Go to Walgreens and buy an at home drug test that covers cocaine, meth, and other substances, not just weed. Pee in cup add small amount of said powder, shake, wait and see what comes up. Make sure test pee is clean I work with a few ex-criminals, I've learned some stuff over the years.

I see your points. But I'm concerned about two things. One is that if I just get rid of it, it will torment me forever. Two is unlikely as it is, if it is what it could be, then someone needs help. I can't do that if I don't know what it is.

Though remember, it actually could be your dads. All of us do things others no nothing of. Either way, let it go. Don't linger on the baggie. It's not worth the pain it will cost you.

Do this, but with a baggy of flour or powdered sugar.

If they bust somebody for drug possession, they have to have a way of verifying that what the person has is actually illegal drugs.

Then take it to the police and tell them you found this and suspect it is your sisters. Knowing that may well get her arrested.

  • dress up like this:

  • take car to your sister's and show off your hard work

How could they do that when they never witnessed it in her possession?

If you get rid of it it will torment you forever? What do you mean? As opposed to selling it?

For the second one...if you want to do some research on how to identify and responsibly dispose of this stuff without leaving evidence, just use your browser's Private mode. This won't hide anything from the NSA, but it won't leave evidence on your PC.

I think we can be about 95% sure this stuff is nose candy, but I can understand how you'd want to be sure.

I am not a lawyer, or a cop, or well anything really. But if you take this in, you are in posession of this substance and have brought it to a PD. Sounds to me like you could be in some trouble just because of that. The drug test idea is probably the closest thing to working while maintaining yourself as a innocent individual.

Also, I would strip the car down as much as possible to look for other substances, and then dispose of them. I would not want my name associated with handing over a car that has little baggies in it when the next person I don't know gets it.

Just my thoughts, this is an interesting screenplay you are writing too, cause I know you don't put personal stuff like this out there

cheap test, maybe $10.00, may not help the situation, but you would know what you've found.

Listen guys, this is a big deal because while I have relationship problems with my sisters, and not going into details, but we were all raised in a way where something like this would be totally unexpected. None of us have ever done anything like this, which just again makes me concerned about what it actually is. I'd king of like to know if it ends up being some medication that my dad had to take. That would really put my mind at ease. But I also can't just ask my Mom about it, because she is ill and fragile. If this is something else, I don't want that put on her. So I have to do this on my own, whatever I do.

That's why I suggested asking the sister. Only go to the cops if you are willing to lose the car and potentially see either yourself or your sister or your mom charged with possession. Maybe I watch too many movies, but what if you destroy the stuff and then find out your sister owes somebody the street value of the bag's contents? I would talk to her. Granted, my guess is that she won't fess up or admit to anything, but at least you tried.

I know of no medicines that are white powders dispensed in plastic bags. You have some good advice here, pick one and get rid of that E36 M3.
