The price of brakes and shears are inversely proportional to the size. 24" DiAcro tools (ie. easy basement size) routinely sell for up to a grand. Hulking 72" tools often go for scrap value.
I found a matched pair of the 24" DiAcros on CL about 5 miles from home. The guy was a bit of a prick doing the "first one here with cash gets 'em" deal, but ultimately I prevailed and got the pair for $700. I scored the matching notcher for $350 including shipping on eBay.
I don't use them terribly often, but when they're needed they're awesome.
