Success is often a simple matter of changing ones' goals. 
ignoring that this mess needs to be on a race track in 10 days and the motor it needs to do that is still in the car in the background and I won't be home to work on it until the weekend.

Don't it? It isn't advertised though, belongs to the son of a friend's coworker. Small tree fell on it, broke the back window, dented the roof.
I figure its worth looking into, anyway. Then I can decide if I want to ignore it.

wow.. how long has it been since I ignored this thread?
sigh...ignoring the asstard who hit my parked car. also ignoring the crunched fender, jacked up rear bumper, exhaust leak, CEL from the O2 sensors that cannot ignore the exhaust leak, and the weird speed-relative hub sounds coming from the rear of my car.
Luckily all this will be hard for the local po-po to ignore since they were already right there due to an unrelated accident, and got the whole thing on dash cam.
Luckily no one was hurt, and I wasn't in the car. I was parked in a legal on-street parking area, so this should be 100% paid for by whoever ends up at fault (there were a few drivers involved...complicated story). Hopefully I get a new exhaust, new fender, and new paint...Infiniti paint code QT1 includes a pearl clear...good luck feathering that. Fingers crossed a full respray is in her future...
