In reply to Javelin:

Congratulations to you and Mrs. Javelin. Just think, if Jav. Jr. is so inclined, you two can race karts together.

Good effort, you two! It sure is an adventure. 17 years from now, you'll have an autocross buddy.

Thanks everybody!

Unfortunately, sleep isn't happening as we're foster parents as well, so we have an 11-month old with us now. I missed my first autocross in 4 years today. Guess it's time for an XBOX and Forza4 since the real cars will probably be in mothballs for the next 5 years.

Congrats! There's nothing else like it: huge responsibility, but great rewards. From Mark GRM From Mark GRM From Mark GRM This last one - he went up to the car (on his own accord), took his socks off and used them to clean the wheel. He was smart enough to do it on his mom's car. ;)

Congrats! I just gave my eldest daughter a 55 Dodge stepside p/u for a father/daughter project for her 16th this weekend. You'll have plenty of great times ahead!

Nicely done. It's interesting. Pregnancy is a whole crazy ride, and when he finally comes out it doesn't get a whole lot better! But it sure is fun.

this is as good of any place to share this...

coming home today my 8y/o daughter Camber Elise was sitting in the passenger seat with me (wife was in the other car with cooper) and looked over and guess she saw the boost gauge in the volvo that said "turbo" she was like "WHOA TURBO" this car must be super fast and yadda yadda (no idea what cartoon she saw this on lol)...

anyway I took the opportunity to explain that a turbo didn't mean a car was fast... just that it helps make more power and CAN be fast... and that when i'm done with the truck we'd go out for a ride :)... when we got home I pointed to the turbo thats hanging off the open engine bay on the truck... and then pointed to the fleabay t3/t4 lol...

kids are AWESOME man :)...

Yup....No coincidence that my first child was born in 2004 and the last time I did HPDE was in 2005. Now I've got three of the little ones and I'm finally getting back on the track this year. But trust me, while you'll miss running as much as you do now, you really won't care. Kids are beyond awesome. Congrats!!!
