I'm not sure he feels threatened.  He didn't say. Offering inappropriate behavior to an appendage is only a threat if it's not welcome, and until he speaks up it's essentially like Schrodinger's bondage cat.

I'll be praying for you. And would be glad to send some Vice-Grips and duct tape your way if they would help; if they won't help fix this problem, you could use them to fix smaller problems so you can concentrate on the big one.

Spring is right around the corner so at least there's that. And you have your health. Glad things are looking a little less dark.
