Savage 110 action, .300 Win Mag, McGowan 26" stainless steel bull barrel fluted, Stockade Prairie Dog stock, custom bottom metal to accept AICS box magazines, reinforced HD recoil lug, bed the action, rework the trigger, add an enlarged bolt handle and top it off with a Vortex Viper PST.
should look similar to the bottom rifle in this pic when all done. Just different paint scheme.

Tompkins will only issue with hunting/target restrictions. No CCW. Besides that, NY will only allow you to apply in the county in which you have resided for at least the last 6 months. See here http://www.tiogacountysheriff.com/index.asp?pageId=326.
Keeps the idiots in the City? Everyone upstate suffers.

I vote secession. Make west NY the 51st state. That also means 14 electoral votes goes from the Dems to the GOP.

Only if we can do the same thing here in Oregon. The eastern side of the state and west side are like different worlds.

It should be a fun stick when done. Cool thing is Savages are cheap to build and are accurate out of the box. So what you do is buy a base model in the caliber you want to ensure you have the right bolt face for the final product. Then you buy up your parts as you can the whole time you are using the rifle for hunting or whatever. Then when you have all the parts tear down the rifle and reassemble it with your new hotrod parts.
