Nothing wrong with that.
I am rather skeptical of the ability to use the box wrenches effectively. I can't see getting enough leverage to do anything terribly useful with it, not to mention endangering the watch head while doing it. Plus just imagine what that thing would do to a sweater. Even Weezer would be shocked.
I just imagine lots of potential from injury with that one.
Also I don't see it being overly useful and I don't see it looking good of any of the 13 watches I have sitting around...

I have been lusting over one of these but chances of ever affording one zero percent. Considering last one I saw sell went for north of $100k...
I have to be honest watches are increasing becoming my number one hobby... By the end of the year hopefully I will be able to service movements.

I think it's not remotely intended for things like, say, working on cars. It's more for things like computers or electronics where you usually don't have things torqued down all to hell and rusted in place. Would be interesting to see how well it is designed to keep it from snagging on clothing though- I imagine that along with the whole 'not pinching your arm' issue that was a definite concern for them in designing it.

Now this I can't understand. It's a watch that tells the time and maybe looks nice. I can get zillionaires using them as wealth achievement badges to subtly display their zillionaire rank to other zillionaires, but not a normal person lusting after a 6-digit watch.
Some of them are finely crafted inside maybe? I dunno. But it's like if Pagani used their usual fab-porn methods to build a car that performed, at best, as well as any regular grocery getter and might not even stand out visually to the untrained eye (like this one here - sorry but to me, while tasteful, it's utterly unremarkable), and sold them for high-end supercar money. That's how I see these watches. All that fancy work makes zero difference in function. I can't see how they have much value as anything but a Veblen good.

Well, it's basically jewelry at that point. Not intended to serve a function, just intended to look nice and be expensive. As a function-over-form guy myself, I've never seen the point, but to each his own.

It is a vintage watch used by the Italian navy commandos during WWII.
People spend massive money on art, cars, planes, etc. Different stokes and all that.

Ah so it has historical value, that makes a little more sense, at least for this particular watch.
