You would not believe the chaos at Jerry World (AKA Cowboy Stadium). NFL has half the entrance gates closed, doesnt have enough people in place at those gates, and is "weighing its options" about whether to open more gates. It's hilarious...people are in the security lines chanting "JERRY SUCKS!!!!" And on top of all that I heard from a buddy that they didnt finish putting up all the temporary seats inside.
I won't get to watch of course, but I feel bad for all the people who paid thousands per seat and are probably going to part of the game.
My grandmother says god brought us all the bad weather because Jerry was so greedy.
The worst part is that these problems have nothing to do with the weather and everything to do with NFL's organizers,Jerry being greedy wanting to set a record, and certain others in official capacities being overwhelmed and being too stupid/proud to ask others for help that do have experience with large events and moving large amounts of people.
And I thought I had the seniority to get out of being stuck into this mess, but oh well....
just wait for the NY open air super bowl.......
at Least NYC can handle snow and crowds... they get both in good measure

You all remember that there is a pretty nice stadium in Miami, where February weather is usually quite pleasant. Leading up to the game, we grilled some steaks, sat outside sipping cold ones, while the NFL minions were freezing. And I believe the next 4 will be up north. Dolfin's team managers are trying to extort 200 mill in tax money from both Dade and Broward counties to improve the stadium, or the NFL will never again approve Miami. Broward county commissioners found that proposal amusing.
You all forget that this was the worst weather DFW has had in 22 years. What were the odds it would hit just in time for the Superbowl.
Our typical weather this time of the year is 60's day and 40's low.

What's the weather got to do with it? Unless you were one of the people that couldn't get in even with your ticket. The people inside(this is football, not badminton, fer crying out loud) couldn't even see the fly over-what's the point, the roof was closed! The game needs to be played in an open stadium. Green Bay, Chicago, heck, even Buffalo! Look at all the people that show up at these places for just regular games. In crappy weather.....and they love it! Dallas(Mr. Jones) and (the NFL)proved once again that money does not equal class.

Super Bowl XLVIII will be at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. Let's hope for lot's of snow.
Especially if, say, Miami plays New Orleans. That would be epic.
News report this morning said the Fire Marshall closed sections of the stadium because the seating had yet to be inspected for egress in case of an emergency.
Now, how long did they have to prepare for the game again, hhmmm. Ticket holders to those areas are getting triple the face value of the ticket back, and were "allowed" to watch the game outside on the jumbotron.
Plus Im also hearing he 400+ who got the boot also get tix to next years world championship of USA football. Mine would be up for sale immediately upon arrival.

You better believe it. It would be even better if say the Packers or Bears or New England made it and some wimpy warm-weather team was on the other side. It would be a slaughter-fest.

According to the fireman sitting in the roped-off section next to me (seats 1-21 were closed, I was in seat 24), the guard rail at the front of the "wing" of extra seats was not high enough. It was about a foot and a half too low. That particular section was about 30' above the concourse.
