Oh, I didn't mean to trivialize modern warfare at all. I was just thinking of how much closer you have to be to kill a man with a stick, sword or club, and the mental process involved with it.

roadside bombs are not what I meant by Brutal... I mean getting right up to your enemy, face to face, and wailing on him with a sword, pike, halbred, or the like. That is Brutal
