Kumquats are fantastic. I just can't find them anywhere. Occasionally Wally World will have them around Christmas time. It's like they get one shipment and eventually they go bad but they put them out anyway. Sad.

I like them too, but never see them for sale. It must be a Republican plot......
Get a bag of them, pierce each and place them into a large gallon bottle, add a pound of sugar and fill with brandy. Put it in a dark place for about 3 months then enjoy.....but don't drive
Loquats > Kumquats
Our new house came with a Loquat (some folks call it a Japanese Plum) tree - flowers smell terrific, the fruit is very seedy, tastes like fig. Makes a great preserve.
