That story reminds me of an autocross driver's meeting in the parking lot of a skating rink, reminding everyone that a Zamboni may come out, if you see it throw the red flag and have the driver slowly return to pits for a re-run, don't get in the Zamboni's way and wait until it returns to where it came from, etc.
After this a driver with a British accent asks "I have a question, what's a Zamboni?" 
That part of the safety briefing now includes an explanation of what a Zamboni is, even though I think it would be so, so much fun to leave that out
